Travel Insurance:  In view of the third world conditions that may apply to many of our tours, we strongly recommend that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy of your choice at the time of booking.  Jambo Africa Ltd, its agents, employees or Directors will not be held responsible or liable for any loss or damage whatsoever to property; injury or illness, although every endeavor will be made to provide assistance in the event of any emergency.

Malaria & Yellow Fever:  If you are visiting a malarial area, we strongly recommend that precautions should be taken against malaria and advice obtained from your doctor or pharmacist regarding malaria prophylactics. Some countries insist you have yellow fever inoculation with a health passport as proof especially if you have been to a country/s previously where yellow fever has been known to occur.

Medical:  If you have an existing medical condition and are taking prescribed medicines, make sure you have an adequate supply to last the whole tour, as many prescription medicines are not freely available in some third world countries. Also remember to bring sun block and hats.

Check in & Check Out Times: Most accommodation providers expect their guests to arrive at 13:00 or later and depart at 10:00 or earlier, this is so they have time to prepare rooms/cottage for their next arriving guests. This is in force at all times unless otherwise stated through correspondence whilst confirming a booking or due to airline/vehicle/boat schedules.
